QQC #6

"'Yes,' I told him sternly. 'You are here, and look at you. You have nothing. You're naked and homeless. You live without security, without comfort, without opportunity.'" Page 225

Is there a more personal meaning when the author says this to Ishmael?

I believe there is a more personal meaning behind what the author is saying to Ishmael beause of how ishmael is living now and how much the author dislikes it. When these comments are said they have a personal sound to them. I apperciate how the author puts this in becuase it sound so real. This comment struck me becuase it sounds like something I would do. i am famous for making litttle remarks that come from the inside and slip out with out me even being almost aware of them. it is scary when an undersable trait of your own is seen in a book. i don't like having thing in common with this author he is really negative.
